Twilight Collection Danish Tapers Candles are produced in Denmark and carry on the long tradition of the original candle shape made and admired since ancient times. They are dipped by hand, producing the finest taper candles which are made to burn smokeless, scentless, dripless and with a very elegant flame in still air. During the dipping process the wick is repeatedly dipped into a bath of hot coloured wax. Each time more wax is accumulated until the candle has reached the required thickness. This dipping process creates the exquisite finish of our solid-coloured Twilight Taper makes it a classic candle for any occasion. Twilight Collection Danish Tapers are connected at the wick creating pairs and are 3/4" in diameter and will fit most standard taper candle holders. -
This is the first salsa we ever made and back when we introduced it Agriculture Canada had a bit of a hard time with the name. To them “salsa” is made with tomatoes and, you guessed it, there is not a single tomato in this recipe. Locally grown pears combine with red, green and jalapeno peppers give this salsa a burn. Fruit based salsas are becoming more and more common, and we make a variety of tomato-less salsas. -
