Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Mauritshuis in The Hague: A small world-class museum with a formidable collection of Dutch painting from the age of Rembrandt and Vermeer. The Girl with a Pearl Earring is one the most iconic works of the Dutch Masters. Vermeer was the master of light. This is shown here in the softness of the girl’s face and the glimmers of light on her moist lips. And of course the pearl, consisting only of a few masterfully placed brushstrokes, which takes center stage on the wallet.Details and finishing
